In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Whitefish Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 58-48 triumph over the Polson Pirates.
The Bulldogs (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ronan (Ronan, MT). The Chiefs go into the A Northwest contest with a 8-5 record.
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Browning Indians (Browning, MT) in a A Northwest contest, on Saturday, February 8. Polson will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 55-53 league loss to Columbia Falls (Columbia Falls, MT).
