In Thursday's league test, the Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) basketball squad defeated the host Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI), by a score of 49-40.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers (Providence, RI) in a Division II test, on Monday, February 10. Rogers will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 3-11 record after their 60-53 league loss to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI).
The Tigers (2-16) will now prepare for their test against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons come into the Division II test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Cranston West overcame Cranston East (Cranston, RI), 46-43, in a non-league test.
