The Northwestern Area Wildcats basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Aberdeen Christian Knights to 12 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Waubay/Summit for a B Region 1 game on Saturday, February 8. Northwestern Area will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 43-32 league win over Langford (Langford, SD). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Aberdeen Christian falls to 0-16 on the campaign. The Knights host Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 10-6. Herreid/Selby lost 50-32 in their recent non-league game against Faith (Faith, SD)
