The Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE) basketball edged the host Waverly Vikings (Waverly, NE), 51-49 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Cavaliers now possess a 12-6 record. They play next when they host Yutan for a C2 District 4 bout on Tuesday, February 11. Bishop Neumann will play a Chieftains team coming off a 56-55 non-league win over Malcolm (Malcolm, NE). The Chieftains record now stands at 15-5.
With the loss, Waverly falls to 13-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Aurora (Aurora, NE) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Friday, February 7.
