The Linsly Cadets basketball squad (Wheeling, WV), was nudged 47-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Buckeye Trail Warriors (Lore City, OH)
With the victory, Buckeye Trail advances its record to 10-11 on the year. The Warriors travel to Ridgewood (West Lafayette, OH) to meet the Generals in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. The Generals enter the battle with a record of 14-6. Ridgewood won 51-28 in their recent league battle against Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH)
The Cadets now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westerville North for a non-league battle on Monday, February 10. Linsly will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 56-19 league loss to Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 1-17.
