West Virginia High School Basketball - George Washington bests Hurricane

The George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) basketball toppled the host Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV), 57-40 in Thursday's league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Spring Valley for a Mountain State bout on Saturday, February 8. George Washington will play a Timberwolves team coming off a 65-59 non-league win over Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Timberwolves record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Hurricane falls to 15-3 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Spring Valley (Huntington, WV) to play the Timberwolves in a Mountain State bout on Wednesday, February 12. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 14-2.
