The Ipswich Tigers basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Waverly/South Shore Coyotes to 31 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now have a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Wilmot for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Ipswich will confront a Wolves team coming off a 73-22 non-league win over Ortonville (Ortonville, MN). The Wolves record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Waverly/South Shore falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Warner (Warner, SD) to confront the Monarchs in a B Region 1 game on Saturday, February 8. The Monarchs go into the game with a record of 12-6. Warner won 53-40 in their recent league game against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD)
