The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Jefferson Saints (Edgewater, CO) and the visiting The Pinnacle Timberwolves (Federal Heights, CO), observed Jefferson's basketball team overwhelm The Pinnacle by a score of 53-32.
The Saints (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake County (Leadville, CO). The Panthers come into the 4A/3A/2A Frontier challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Lake County trounced Sheridan (Denver, CO), 49-41, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Timberwolves battle the Sheridan Rams (Denver, CO) in a 4A/3A/2A Frontier challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. The Pinnacle will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record.
