In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Nixa Eagles basketball team scored a big 71-26 triumph over the Waynesville Tigers.
The Eagles (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kickapoo (Springfield, MO). The Chiefs go into the Central Ozarks contest with a 15-2 record.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Rolla Bulldogs (Rolla, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Waynesville will attempt to better on its 5-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 17-4 record after their 59-20 non-league win over Cuba/Viburnum (Cuba, MO).
