North Carolina High School Basketball - Wesleyan Christian Academy triumphant over Phoenix Academy

February 6, 2025: High Point, NC 27262

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) and the visiting Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC), observed Wesleyan Christian Academy's basketball team overwhelm Phoenix Academy by a margin of 86-35.

The Trojans (22-6) will now prepare for their challenge against North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 12-10 record. In their last challenge, North Raleigh Christian Academy trounced Durham Academy (Durham, NC), 55-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Firebirds battle the Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Phoenix Academy will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 57-26 non-league loss to Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC).
