The Powers Lake/Burke Central basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Velva Aggies to 46 in the non-league triumph on Thursday.
The now have a 10-11 record. They play next when they travel to Divide County for a B District 5 game on Thursday, February 13. Powers Lake/Burke Central will confront a Maroons team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Westhope/Newburg (Westhope, ND). The Maroons record now stands at 11-11.
With the loss, Velva falls to 2-20 on the campaign.
