The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD) and the visiting Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), observed Webster's basketball team overwhelm Redfield by a margin of 58-36.

The Bearcats (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against West Central (Hartford, SD). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, West Central trounced Tri-Valley (Colton, SD), 41-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Pheasants battle the Madison Bulldogs (Madison, SD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 8. Redfield will attempt to move on its 1-16 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 52-16 non-league loss to Deubrook (White, SD).
