Riverdale Rebels (Jefferson, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA), 53-25 in a league match.
With the victory, Riverdale upgrades its record to 17-4 on the year. The Rebels host John Ehret (Marrero, LA) to face the Patriots in a 5A District 10 match on Wednesday, February 12. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 6-13.
The Buccaneers now sport a 7-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to L.W. Higgins for a 5A District 10 match on Monday, February 10.
