Georgia High School Basketball - Twiggs County overwhelmed by Upson-Lee

In Thursday's non-league test, the Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA), by a final score of 68-25.

Next, the Knights clash with the Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA) in a AAA Region 2 test, on Friday, February 7. Upson-Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 2-21 record after their 66-15 league loss to Troup County (LaGrange, GA).

The Cobras (2-20) will now prepare for their test against Glascock County (Gibson, GA). The Panthers come into the A D2 Region 5 test with a 10-14 record. In their last test, Glascock County was overwhelmed by Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA), 59-48, in a non-league test.
