North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwood holds off Cedar Ridge

The Northwood Chargers basketball team scored 27 points and limited the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves to 20 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now have a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chatham Central for a game on Tuesday, February 11. Northwood will confront a Bears team coming off a 26-9 non-league loss to Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Bears record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Cedar Ridge falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Fighting red wolves host Western Alamance (Elon, NC) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 9-0.
