The Genoa-Kingston Cogs basketball team scored 43 points and limited the host Rock Falls Rockets to 20 in the Cogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cogs now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Woodstock for a non-league game on Monday, February 10.
With the loss, Rock Falls falls to 2-22 on the campaign. The Rockets host Oregon (Oregon, IL) to confront the Hawks in a game on Saturday, February 8. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 1-1.
