The Western Albemarle Warriors bounced the visiting Monticello Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 50-13 in Thursday's non-league outing.
Next, the Warriors clash with the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, February 11. Western Albemarle will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Lions come into the outing with a 8-4 record after their 48-17 non-league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA).
The Mustangs (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets come into the non-league outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, Orange County was overwhelmed by Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 46-39, in a league outing.
