The Carroll County Cavaliers bounced the host Patrick County Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 63-29 in Thursday's non-league outing.
Next, the Cavaliers clash with the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, February 7. Carroll County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Highlanders come into the outing with a 17-2 record after their 57-48 non-league win over Floyd County (Floyd, VA).
The Cougars (3-12) will now prepare for their outing against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights come into the non-league outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, James River was overwhelmed by Radford (Radford, VA), 70-30, in a non-league outing.
