In Monday's league outing, the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA), by a margin of 44-7.
The Comets (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders go into the Lackawanna 1 outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, West Scranton was trounced by Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA), 53-43, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 0-16 record. They play next when they host Scranton for a Lackawanna 1 outing on Thursday, February 10. Western Wayne will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 76-43 non-league win over Honesdale (Honesdale, PA). The Knights record now stands at 15-1.
