Peabody-Burns Warriors (Peabody, KS) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Wakefield Bombers (Wakefield, KS), 56-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Peabody-Burns upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Canton-Galva (Canton, KS) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Canton-Galva lost 83-65 in their recent non-league bout against Solomon (Solomon, KS)

Next up, the Bombers play the Goessel Bluebirds (Goessel, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Wakefield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Bluebirds come into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 44-38 non-league loss to Elyria Christian (McPherson, KS).
