Virginia High School Basketball - Western Branch trounces Oscar Smith

The Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA), 71-33 in Monday's league test.
The Bruins (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets go into the Southeastern test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Deep Creek was trounced by King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 68-30, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grassfield for a Southeastern test on Tuesday, February 8. Oscar Smith will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 49-46 league loss to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-7.
