Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats (Anna, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Century Centurions (Ullin, IL), 71-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Anna-Jonesboro upgrades its record to 10-17 on the campaign. The Wildcats host DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL) to play the Indians in a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi bout on Friday, February 10. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 10-16. DuQuoin lost 68-50 in their recent non-league bout against Benton (Benton, IL)

Next up, the Centurions play the Pope County Pirates (Golconda, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Century will attempt to upgrade on its 6-18 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 17-9 record after their 78-27 non-league win over Joppa-Maple Grove (Joppa, IL).
