In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA) basketball squad beat the visiting Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA), by a count of 60-43.
The Monarchs (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against AHSTW (Avoca, IA). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 18-3 record. In their last outing, AHSTW defeated Tri-Center (Neola, IA), 62-56, in a non-league outing.
The Bombers now hold a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Winterset for a Raccoon River outing on Friday, February 10. Ballard will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 56-55 league win over A-D-M (Adel, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 14-6.
