Barnesville Shamrocks (Barnesville, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Magnolia Blue Eagles (New Martinsville, WV), 56-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Barnesville upgrades its record to 4-17 on the season. The Shamrocks host Frontier (New Matamoras, OH) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Frontier won 51-37 in their recent non-league bout against Paden City (Paden City, WV)

Next up, the Blue Eagles clash with the Oak Glen Golden Bears (New Cumberland, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Magnolia will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a 1-17 record after their 64-57 non-league loss to Beaver (Lisbon, OH).
