The Pittsfield Saukees basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Beardstown Tigers to 48 in the Saukees non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Saukees now sport a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Griggsville-Perry for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 8. Pittsfield will meet a Tornadoes team coming off a 45-43 non-league win over South County (Franklin, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 20-7.
The Tigers (14-14) will now prepare for their contest against Havana (Havana, IL). The Ducks enter the non-league contest with a 9-16 record. In their last contest, Havana was outscored by Canton (Canton, IL), 59-56, in a non-league contest.
