In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Garretson Blue Dragons (Garretson, SD), by a count of 71-41.
The Watchdogs (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD). The Huskies go into the A Region 4 outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Elk Point-Jefferson smashed Canton (Canton, SD), 76-65, in a league outing.
The Blue Dragons now hold a 0-15 record. They play next when they host Tri-Valley for a A Region 3 outing on Thursday, February 9. Garretson will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 75-48 non-league loss to Lennox (Lennox, SD). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-11.
