The Northland Eagles basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Bigfork Huskies to 31 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walker-Hackensack-Akeley for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Northland will battle a Wolves team coming off a 91-70 non-league loss to Red Lake (Red Lake, MN). The Wolves record now stands at 6-12.

The Huskies (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Deer River (Deer River, MN). The Warriors enter the A Section 7 contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Deer River triumphed over Ely/Krekelberg HomeSchool (Ely, MN), 82-72, in a league contest.
