The Buckeye Local Panthers (Rayland, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Edison Wildcats (Richmond, OH), 72-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (7-13) will now prepare for their test against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, John Marshall was trounced by Steubenville (Steubenville, OH), 67-58, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they host Wellsville for a non-league test on Friday, February 10. Edison will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 61-49 non-league win over Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 13-6.
