With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 18-9 on the season. The Eagles host Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 12-16.

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Agricultural Science Cyclones (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Catalyst-Maria will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Cyclones go into the bout with a 20-6 record after their 57-44 non-league loss to Curie (Chicago, IL).
