The Chamberlain Cubs basketball team (Chamberlain, SD), was nudged 52-51 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD)
The Chieftains now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flandreau Indian for a non-league battle on Friday, February 10. Crow Creek will confront a Indians team coming off a 81-53 non-league loss to Walthill (Walthill, NE). The Indians record now stands at 3-9.
The Cubs (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Parkston (Parkston, SD). The Trojans come into the A Region 5 battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Parkston edged Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD), 55-34, in a league battle.
