The Covington Lions basketball team (Covington, LA), dropped 55-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA)
The Panthers now possess a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Slidell for a 5A District 6 battle on Friday, February 10. Northshore will confront a Tigers team coming off a 67-61 league win over Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-23.
The Lions (5-13) will now prepare for their battle against Springfield (Springfield, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 8-19 record. In their last battle, Springfield dropped by French Settlement (French Settlement, LA), 75-32, in a league battle.
