In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Dakota Valley Panthers basketball team scored a tight 59-54 triumph over the Vermillion Tanagers.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Canton C-Hawks (Canton, SD) in a A Region 4 match, on Thursday, February 16. Dakota Valley will attempt to move on its 15-0 season record.
With the defeat, Vermillion moves to 6-11 on the year. The Tanagers travel to Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, February 10. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 8-7. Irene/Wakonda won 56-26 in their recent league match against Menno (Menno, SD)
