Dallas Thunder (Dallas, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Pantego Christian Panthers (Arlington, TX), 49-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dallas Thunder upgrades its record to 8-15 on the season. The host Dallas HSAA (Plano, TX) to play the Angels in a Freelance bout on Thursday, March 2. The Angels go into the bout with a record of 10-16.

Next up, the Panthers play the Covenant Christian Cougars (Colleyville, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 1 bout, on Thursday, February 9. Pantego Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 18-16 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 16-16 record after their 72-40 league win over Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX).
