With the win, Damascus upgrades its record to 19-0 on the season. The Hornets host Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Paint Branch won 53-43 in their recent non-league bout against Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD)

Next up, the Rockets face the Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 14. Richard Montgomery will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record.
