Maryland High School Basketball - Friendly overwhelmed by Douglass

The Friendly Patriots basketball team (Fort Washington, MD), was overwhelmed 66-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD)

The Eagles now possess a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle on Thursday, February 9. Douglass will confront a Falcons team coming off a 70-45 league loss to Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 6-13.

The Patriots (3-16) will now prepare for their battle against Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD). The Clippers come into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle with a 15-5 record. In their last battle, Oxon Hill was overwhelmed by Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD), 74-56, in a league battle.
