Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Three Rivers Wildcats (Three Rivers, MI), 69-62 in a league bout.

With the win, Dowagiac upgrades its record to 3-12 on the season. The Chieftains host Brandywine (Niles, MI) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 13-1. Brandywine won 66-48 in their recent league bout against Buchanan (Buchanan, MI)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Vicksburg Bulldogs (Vicksburg, MI) in a Wolverine B bout, on Friday, February 10. Three Rivers will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 63-52 non-league loss to Lawton (Lawton, MI).
