Louisiana High School Basketball - Live Oak ripped by East Ascension

The East Ascension Spartans basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Live Oak Eagles to 34 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dutchtown for a 5A District 5 contest on Friday, February 10. East Ascension will meet a Griffins team coming off a 72-62 league loss to Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 8-12.
The Eagles (7-15) will now prepare for their contest against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Gators enter the 5A District 5 contest with a 15-10 record. In their last contest, St. Amant was routed by Walker (Walker, LA), 96-56, in a league contest.
