The Manchester Red Hawks basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Edwin O. Smith Panthers to 38 in the Red Hawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Hawks now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tolland for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Manchester will battle a Eagles team coming off a 64-58 non-league loss to Somers (Somers, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 1-12.
The Panthers (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against East Hartford (East Hartford, CT). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, East Hartford was routed by Cheney RVT (Manchester, CT), 72-67, in a non-league contest.
