Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Freeman Flyers (Freeman, SD), 73-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hanson moves its record to 11-6 on the year. The Beavers travel to Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD) to face the Black Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, February 11. The Black Panthers enter the game with a record of 11-4.
With the defeat, Freeman moves to 3-13 on the year. The Flyers travel to Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD) to face the Jaguars in a non-league game on Thursday, February 9. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 5-9. Corsica/Stickney won 53-38 in their recent non-league game against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD)
