Michigan High School Basketball - Gull Lake topped by St. Joseph

The St. Joseph Bears basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Gull Lake Blue Devils to 62 in the Bears league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mattawan for a Southwestern Michigan - West contest on Thursday, February 9. St. Joseph will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 66-59 non-league loss to Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-2.
The Blue Devils (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Battle Creek, MI). The Bearcats come into the Southwestern Michigan - East contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Central prevailed over Portage Central (Portage, MI), 58-49, in a non-league contest.
