Tremont Turks (Tremont, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hartsburg-Emden Stags (Hartsburg, IL), 59-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tremont upgrades its record to 15-11 on the campaign. The Turks host Midwest Central (Manito, IL) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 11-14. Midwest Central lost 62-53 in their recent league bout against Delavan (Delavan, IL)

Next up, the Stags play the Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Hartsburg-Emden will attempt to upgrade on its 7-19 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 8-20 record after their 52-50 league loss to Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL).
