The Portage Northern Huskies basketball team (Portage, MI), was overwhelmed 74-43 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI)
The Maroon Giants now possess a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norrix for a Southwestern Michigan - East battle on Thursday, February 9.
The Huskies (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs come into the Southwestern Michigan - West battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Portage Central was overwhelmed by Central (Battle Creek, MI), 58-49, in a non-league battle.
