King City Wildkats (King City, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northland Christian (Kansas City, MO), 53-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, King City upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Wildkats travel to Trenton (Trenton, MO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-17. Trenton lost 82-66 in their recent league bout against Putnam County (Unionville, MO)

Next up, the clash with the Pattonsburg Panthers (Pattonsburg, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Northland Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 15-6 record after their 78-42 non-league loss to Maysville (Maysville, MO).
