The The Dalles Riverhawks basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting La Grande Tigers to 51 in the Riverhawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Riverhawks now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Estacada for a 4A Tri-Valley contest on Friday, February 10. The Dalles will meet a Rangers team coming off a 70-59 league loss to Madras (Madras, OR). The Rangers record now stands at 7-10.
The Tigers (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pendleton (Pendleton, OR). The Buckaroos enter the 4A Greater Oregon contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Pendleton was nudged by Baker (Baker City, OR), 67-52, in a league contest.
