The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Lutheran-Northeast Eagles to 43 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wisner-Pilger for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will meet a Gators team coming off a 57-19 non-league win over Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Lyons, NE). The Gators record now stands at 16-5.
The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] (Clearwater, NE). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] triumphed over Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE), 46-45, in a non-league contest.
