Illinois High School Basketball - Manual can't hold off Washington

The Manual Rams basketball team (Peoria, IL), was nudged 44-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Washington Panthers (Washington, IL)
The Panthers now sport a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canton for a Mid-Illini battle on Friday, February 10. Washington will battle a Little Giants team coming off a 59-56 non-league win over Havana (Havana, IL). The Little Giants record now stands at 6-21.
The Rams (17-9) will now prepare for their battle against Urbana (Urbana, IL). The Tigers come into the Big Twelve battle with a 3-18 record. In their last battle, Urbana was nudged by Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL), 70-68, in a non-league battle.
