The Maple Valley Raiders (Tower City, ND) basketball nipped the visiting Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers (Fargo, ND), 53-49 in Tuesday's league test.
The Raiders (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Lisbon (Lisbon, ND). The Broncos go into the B Region 1 test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Lisbon was tipped by Northern Cass (Hunter, ND), 43-42, in a league test.
The Grovers now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Sargent County for a B Region 1 test on Friday, February 10. Oak Grove Lutheran will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 84-51 league win over Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] (Rosholt, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-0.
