Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL), 80-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sycamore upgrades its record to 10-17 on the season. The Spartans host Kaneland (Maple Park, IL) to clash with the Knights in a Interstate Eight bout on Friday, February 10. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 23-5. Kaneland won 71-40 in their recent non-league bout against Woodstock (Woodstock, IL)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) in a Kishwaukee River bout, on Friday, February 10. Marengo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-27 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a 9-18 record after their 55-35 league loss to Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL).
