The New Richmond Lions (New Richmond, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Mariemont Warriors (Cincinnati, OH), 69-62 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lions (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Wilmington (Wilmington, OH). The Hurricane go into the Southern Buckeye - American test with a 4-17 record. In their last test, Wilmington was tipped by Blanchester (Blanchester, OH), 56-45, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Taylor for a Cincinnati Hills test on Friday, February 10. Mariemont will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 60-58 non-league loss to Cincinnati Christian (Fairfield, OH). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 8-10.
