In Tuesday's league outing, the Montcalm Generals (Montcalm, WV) basketball squad nipped the visiting Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV), by a margin of 61-54.
The Generals (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Greater Beckley Christian got by Grace Christian (Huntington, WV), 81-65, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Sherman for a non-league outing on Friday, February 10. Meadow Bridge will encounter a Tide squad coming off a 61-45 non-league win over Van (Van, WV). The Tide record now stands at 9-8.
